Lighting can also dramatically affect the appearance of color, so Rodda recommends choosing paint colors in the setting and lighting conditions where they will be applied, and testing in an inconspicuous area before applying the full project.

Cascadia ZERO is an ultra-low VOC, acrylic blend paint and primer-in-one, which saves time and effort with fewer coats. Its odor-free formula is built for exceptional hide and coverage, smooth application with minimal spatter, and virtually no odor. This diverse color range is available in a variety of nature-inspired and timeless colors, in three sheens and several sizes.

The flat sheen provides a designer finish with depth of color and excellent masking of imperfections. Cascadia ZERO is best used on interior walls, including drywall and plaster, doors, trim, and over masonry and wood, making it ideal for living rooms, dens, and bedrooms. For application, surfaces should be cleaned first, the paint should be thoroughly mixed, and two coats should be applied. Rodda recommends using a nylon/polyester blend brush or a 3/8" to 3/4" nap synthetic roller, depending on the surface texture. The paint dries to the touch in 30 minutes and can be recoated in 2 hours.
